We are recruiting an Educational Support Assistant to support a small number of mainstream and SEMH/SEND primary schools in Rillington and the surrounding area. This role is ideal for teaching assistants who enjoy supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups, assisting with learning and interventions, and helping create a positive classroom environment, while still valuing consistency and local placements.

Responsibilities
  • Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, including targeted interventions
  • Assist with lessons, therapy sessions, and SEND/SEMH programs
  • Encourage pupil independence, engagement, and confidence
  • Implement positive behaviour support strategies
  • Record observations and provide feedback for teaching staff
