Educational Psychologist – North Tyneside – £600 Daily – Full Time/Part Time – Ongoing

Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological assessments of children and young people.
  • Formulate and deliver evidence-based interventions.
  • Contribute to Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans under the Children and Families Act 2014.
  • Provide expert consultation to school staff, parents/carers, and other professionals.
  • Collaborate to support student inclusion through problem-solving approaches.
  • Partner with schools to enhance whole-school approaches to mental health, behaviour, and learning.
  • Contribute to policy development and training initiatives.
  • Lead action research and evaluations, applying evidence-based practice.
  • Promote continuous improvement in educational outcomes.
  • Recognise and address safeguarding concerns effectively and work in line with safeguarding procedures.
