Educational Psychologist | 8923 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | Salary up to £55,974 (Soulbury A Scale) Points 2-7, starting on point 4 £49,789 (pro rata for part-time) plus SPAs as appropriate | Soulbury A Scale | Norwich

Are you a qualified Educational Psychologist or are you studying for a Doctorate in Educational Psychology due to finish in September 2026? Do you want to be part of a team where there is diversity of practice and flexible working? Norfolk County Council invites you to join its radical scheme to improve outcomes for children with SEND.

Our recent service restructure puts Educational Psychology and Specialist Support (EPSS) at the heart of Norfolk’s SEND strategy. We have big ambitions to provide families with exceptional support via family hubs, our Local First Inclusion programme and specialist interventions. We work in innovative family clusters to improve outcomes for children across a multi-disciplinary team. We are expanding and recruiting for 6 Educational Psychologists to join our team.

You Will Have

• A degree in Psychology – minimum 2:1
• A doctorate in Educational Psychology
• HCPC registration
• You share our passion for supporting children and young people and providing them with the best possible outcomes.
• We welcome applications from trainee Educational Psychologists due to qualify in September 2026 and from internationally trained Educational Psychologists relocating to the UK.
