About Us

Connect Exec is a specialist SEND consultancy partnering with local authorities across the UK. We’re looking for an experienced HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist to complete Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNAs) and provide high-quality statutory advice to support children and young people with SEND.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver psychological advice for EHCNAs under the Children and Families Act (2014), following the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Carry out consultations, observations, and assessments of cognitive and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with schools, families, and multi-agency teams to gather evidence.
  • Produce clear, evidence-based statutory reports with recommendations.
  • Meet statutory deadlines while maintaining quality and safeguarding standards.
  • HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist.
  • BPS-recognised Psychology degree + Doctorate (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualified experience.
  • Proven experience producing EHCNA reports within a UK Local Authority.
  • Strong knowledge of SEND legislation.
  • Experience across a range of educational settings and age groups.
  • Familiarity with digital tools for reporting.
  • Flexible, collaborative working style.
