Job description
Band 2 – 20 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

We are now recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated receptionist/administrator with experience of working in a busy environment. The post holder will need to be methodical with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

It is essential that the post holder has strong interpersonal skills with a “can do” approach, is able to problem solve and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as receptionist and first point of contact for all users, visitors and patients to the building and surrounding wards.
  • Monitor daily maintenance issues and act as fire warden.
  • Provide administrative support to the Assistant Education Campus Manager.
  • Process all room booking requests via a bespoke electronic system.
  • Adapt quickly and easily to new IT systems.
  • Receive deliveries and ensure they are forwarded to the correct department.
  • Monitor room usage and signing‑in process on a daily basis.
  • Work as part of the Admin & Reception Team based in the Oxford Road Campus.
  • Assist with events & facilities support.
