We are seeking a new Editor to take on responsibility for our academic books programme for our Journalism, Media and Communications list. You will acquire and publish content across all our formats (monographs, Palgrave Pivots, textbooks, reference works, and a small number of general interest titles), in a role which includes maintaining the existing portfolio and developing new areas for growth with a signings target of 70‑80 titles per year. You will be responsible for identifying authors, negotiating contract terms, and managing the development and submission of book projects, overseeing the lifecycle of each book from proposal to publication. You will work with the Editorial Director and other senior team members to develop your list as part of the wider team, imprint, and company strategy.
This role will be located in either our Delhi or London office, which offer a hybrid working model.
