Starting as soon as possible.
Plan, prepare and deliver creative, well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum and exam board specifications.
Set, mark and assess classwork, homework and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support student progress.
Inspire critical thinking through debates, case studies and real-world economic examples.
Track and monitor pupil attainment, maintaining accurate records and reporting to parents and senior leaders.
Contribute to the development of the Economics curriculum and collaborate with colleagues across the Social Sciences department.
Organise or support enrichment opportunities such as economics clubs, guest speakers, or educational visits.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and school-wide events.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge in Economics, with the ability to teach up to A-level.
A passion for making complex concepts accessible and engaging.
Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills as Economics Teacher.
