An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fixed term Economic Project Officer (Connected Innovation) within Economic Development’s Innovation and Sectors team. Hybrid working with office base being County Hall in Norwich. The Innovation and Sectors team manages a wide range of programmes supporting the region’s innovation ecosystem and key sectors. We are looking for a hardworking, client focused and efficient team member. As a Project Officer, you will work with the Connected Innovation Hubs Manager to support the marketing, planning and delivery of the Connected Innovation Programme, which links together Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex’ innovation ecosystem and joins the dots on innovation support in the region. With a track record of collaboration, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of Connected Innovation across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. Strong communication, marketing and analytical skills will be essential to enable successful programme delivery and to enhance outcomes for the region’s innovation ecosystem. Travel will be required across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex to meet with partners across the private sector, academia and public sector. You will be responsible for the planning and organisation of events and activities, and to support the marketing and communications for the programme.

We are looking for a hardworking, client focused and efficient team member. As a Project Officer, you will work with the Innovation Grant Mentoring Manager to support the marketing, planning and delivery of the Innovation Mentoring Business Service, a free to access support service providing bid writing and grant mentoring to ambitious SMEs seeking innovation funding to accelerate their growth and development. With a track record of collaboration, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of the Innovation Mentoring Business Service across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. Strong communication, marketing and analytical skills will be essential to enable successful programme delivery and to enhance outcomes for the region’s innovation ecosystem. Travel will be required across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex to meet with partners across the private sector, academia and public sector. You will be responsible for the planning and organisation of events and activities, and to support the marketing and communications for the programme.
