Salary: Up to 45k (based on skills, training and competence)

Hours: 40 hours per week – core hours 10:00‑14:00; alternate schedules 08:00‑16:00 or 10:00‑18:00.

Contract: Permanent

Site: Site based

The successful candidate will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of electrical and instrumentation equipment in our facilities. Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain and repair electrical control and instrumentation systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform repairs as needed; conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support ongoing projects and upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties.
Day‑to‑day
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support ongoing projects.
  • Document maintenance activities and update equipment records.
  • Participate in safety meetings and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree or certification in electrical control or instrumentation technology.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and repairing electrical control and instrumentation systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
Knowledge
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
  • Knowledge of DCS, ESD and PLC‑based control systems.
Desirable Skills
