Job description

Academics are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant based in a Primary School in Holmes Chapel on the Early Years Team. With an ‘OUTSTANDING/GOOD’ rating, this school have a dedicated, caring, and experienced staff who work hard to provide a balance of learning approaches to ensure that each child reaches his/her full potential.

This role would be a part time role from Wednesday to Friday starting from January with potential to carry on into the new academic year for the right.

To be considered you will have:

• Enthusiasm and passion for children
• An understanding of how young children learn
• NVQ Qualification in Childcare or equivalent
• Experience in working 1:1 with children
• The ability to work as part of a team
• A valid DBS (we can support with this process)
• Be fully cleared to work through Academics
