Are you a caring and motivated Qualified Nursery Practitioner who is passionate about giving children the best start in life? Our client’s welcoming nursery in RG9 is seeking a dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Early Years Educator to join the growing team.

Childcare Practitioner • Early Years Educator • Safeguarding Focused

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 3 months – 5 years
  • Plan and deliver high-quality learning activities following the EYFS framework
  • Observe, assess, and record each child’s development and milestones
  • Ensure excellent standards of safeguarding, hygiene, and health & safety
  • Work closely with parents, children, and colleagues to maintain positive relationships
  • Support the wider team and contribute to a collaborative and caring working culture
REQUIREMENTS
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (Ofsted-approved)
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and relevant nursery policies
  • Experience planning and delivering age-appropriate learning activities
  • Confident in observing and assessing children’s development
  • Understanding of nursery health, hygiene, and safety standards
  • Excellent communication, reliability, and teamwork skills
HOURS
  • 40 hours per week
  • Full-time, permanent contract
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Commitment to safeguarding the welfare of all children
  • Upholding safeguarding policies and reporting concerns promptly
  • Attending regular safeguarding and child protection training
DBS REQUIREMENT
  • An Enhanced DBS check is required (the nursery can assist if not already obtained)
