We are a supportive, child-focused early years setting looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our team. Whether you are seeking a short-term placement or a long-term Early Years Practitioner position, we welcome passionate individuals who are committed to delivering high-quality early years education and care.

Role Responsibilities
  • Support the learning, development, and well-being of children aged 0–5, following the EYFS framework
  • Plan, deliver, and participate in stimulating activities that promote curiosity and learning
  • Create a warm, nurturing environment that supports early years development
  • Maintain safeguarding procedures and ensure the safety of every child in your care
  • Build positive, professional relationships with children, families, and fellow Early Years Practitioners
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress in line with early years standards
  • Contribute to the overall success and teamwork of the early years setting
Requirements
  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification as an Early Years Practitioner or in Early Years/Childcare
  • Prior experience working as an Early Years Practitioner in a nursery or childcare environment
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS and early years best practice
  • A caring, motivated, and proactive attitude
  • Ability to adapt quickly in various early years settings, especially for short-term placements
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
