Are you passionate about shaping the future of early years education? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Lecturer to join our team. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and supporting students on their journey to becoming skilled childcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Teach and assess on childcare programmes, acting as a Programme Lecturer for a group of students, and contributing to course management and planning.
- Deliver engaging lessons, supporting student progression, and maintaining high standards of quality and safeguarding.
- Act as a Programme Lecturer, setting targets and supporting student achievement and retention.
- Deliver high-quality teaching and tutorials across a range of Early Years courses.
- Implement creative and inclusive teaching techniques, including the use of new technologies.
- Manage student behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Accurately record and report student progress, attendance, and assessment outcomes.
Qualifications
- Hold a relevant Education & Childcare qualification
- Minimum grade C/4 GCSE in maths and English (or equivalent)
- Experience working with children and young people in early years and education settings
- Innovative and competent in creating a stimulating learning environment
- Excellent team-working, communication, and organisational skills
Working pattern and salary
Actual Salary: £19,675.83 - £24,904.87 per annum
Working Pattern: Monday, Wednesday (8:30am - 5:00pm) and Friday (8:30am - 4:00pm) / 21.5 hours per week
