Job summary

A quality training provider is seeking an experienced Early Years Assessor to manage a caseload of learners. This role is home-based with flexible working hours and requires experience in a nursery setting. The ideal candidate will provide mentorship through to completion of their qualifications while covering Bedford and the surrounding area. Competitive salary of £30k–£33k with additional perks included.

Early Years Assessor

The role is home based with learners located in Bedford and the surrounding area.

Salary and Expenses
  • Full‑time, permanent
  • Mon‑Fri, no unsociable hours or weekends

Purpose of the role

You will be managing a caseload of Early Years apprenticeship learners (including Functional Skills), both remotely (via telephone, video, email) and visits to the learner in their place of work. Providing mentorship and coaching to the learner through to completion of their Early Years apprenticeship qualification.

Essentials
  • At least 3 years experience as a Deputy Manager or higher in a Nursery setting (for unqualified assessor applicants)
  • UK driving license and use of own transport
  • Home Based – covering Bedford and the surrounding area
  • A mixture of home working/remote and visiting learners in their place of work
