Overview

Reliable and compassionate Care Assistants required for a Nottingham based care home, specialising in providing care for those with physical and/or dementia related illness.

As a Care Assistant, you will work to empower residents to remain as independent as possible in their daily routines. You will aid their mobility and nutritional needs, whilst ensuring that physical and psychological wellbeing is the utmost priority.

Responsibilities

• Completing domestic tasks
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines
• Taking responsibility for promoting the welfare of the adults in your care – although no two days will be the same

Qualifications

• You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. If you do not have up-to-date certificates, online training can be offered (additional fee)
• Have an in-date enhanced DBS check; if your DBS has expired, we can arrange a new one

Opportunity details

This is an ongoing opportunity and rewarding role.

Your usual hours of work will be Monday to Friday starting at 07:00 and finishing at 14:00.

You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.55 plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
