Job summary

Job description

My client provides professional training services to a range of employers nationwide. They’re based in the heart of Manchester. The E Learn Skills Coach is responsible for front‑line support of their students, working as a teaching professional, providing curricular and pastoral support consistently and reliably across their caseload.

Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and supportive service to students
  • Use a range of communication media and be prepared to provide support students
  • To provide structure and focus to assist the students in managing their workloads
  • Ensure telephone, e-mail and video conferencing tutor support is available for students
  • Provide constructive feedback, mark and return all student work, within agreed timeframes
  • To maintain records of all student contact using the correct documentation and collect evaluation information
  • To work within the framework set out by Awarding Bodies or other accrediting agencies
  • To attend regular team meetings and participate in cross‑marking and moderation where required
  • Accurately update staff and student records on the internal portal
Required Skills
  • Experience of assessing in the specified occupational area
  • Assessing award - A1/D32/D33 or equivalent
  • Minimum level 3 teaching qualification
  • Level 2 English Maths and ICT
  • A good level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be able to work closely and cooperatively with other members of the staff team
  • Maintaining an up‑to‑date knowledge of subjects taught and developments
  • A holiday allowance of 23 working days (plus bank holidays)

Working hours are –37.5 hours a week
