DUTY MANAGER

The Blakeney Hotel is a four-star, 64-bedroom, privately owned hotel located in an unrivalled position on the Quay in Blakeney, with breathtaking views from the restaurant, bar, and lounges.

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Hospitality Manager to join our professional and friendly Duty Management team. For applicants with limited managerial experience, we may have supervisory positions with possible opportunities for progression.

Candidates must have:

  • A friendly, professional, outgoing nature and a positive attitude
  • Previous hospitality experience in a quality establishment
  • An ability to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Great organisational and communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and staff management skills
  • An ability to motivate and direct staff with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • A willingness to work evenings, weekends, and have overnight stays on the premises on a rota basis

Key responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of the hotel
  • Assisting in all departments as business dictates
  • Ensuring high levels of service are consistently delivered
  • Handling guest issues and queries quickly, discreetly, and professionally
  • Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed
  • Training and monitoring staff performance
