Job Overview

As a Food Technology / DT Technician, you will support the smooth running of Food Technology and Design Technology lessons. You will work closely with teaching staff to prepare materials, maintain equipment, and ensure a safe and well organised learning environment. The ideal Food Technology / DT Technician will have experience supporting practical lessons within a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients, materials, and equipment for Food Technology and DT lessons.
  • Maintain and clean specialist equipment and workspaces.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times.
  • Support teachers during practical lessons where required.
  • Manage stock levels and place orders for supplies.
