Job description

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Driver/Labourer to join Kirklees Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to a designated site to collect a Council vehicle and drive throughout the district and surrounding areas
• Safely transport operatives, tools, materials, and equipment between work locations
• Assist trade operatives in carrying out daily duties as required
• Carry out general labouring tasks within a construction or building maintenance environment
• Prepare sites before work begins and clear sites on completion, ensuring waste is disposed of in line with Council procedures

Essential Requirements

• Full, valid UK driving licence
• Practical experience working as a labourer within a construction or building trade environment
