The Details
- Pay: £14.30 per hour
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Working Pattern: Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota basis [07.30 - 16.00]
- Location: Clifton College, 32 College Road, Clifton, Bristol BS8 3JH
- Must hold a full UK current MANUAL driving license for a minimum of two years with no endorsements.

At Sodexo, we value you for who you are. As a Delivery and Stores Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in making sure deliveries across the college campus (including sports ground BB) of food supplies, light equipment, hospitality equipment and other catering employees runs smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure customers’ orders are delivered, product quantities accounted for and documentation completed
- To carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- To adhere to daily delivery schedule and meet customers time slots
- To drive a company / client vehicle (transit size van) and comply with Sodexo’s / Clients driving policy and regulations
- To make deliveries across the college campus (including sports ground BB) of food supplies, light equipment, hospitality equipment and other catering employees
- Promote a friendly working relationship with colleagues and client staff
- Promote a good company image to customers and guests by using positive customer service practices
- To liaise with Store Manager, hospitality team, Executive Head Chef and Catering Manager
- To accept deliveries of stock ensuring they are correct and any damage or discrepancies are recorded
- To ensure that any orders are suitably packaged ready for delivery and keep accurate records of where stock is allocated around site
- To ensure the safety and security of the stock and complete frequent and accurate stock takes
- To report any complaints and take action where possible
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles
- To be able to effectively use the computer including answering emails, word processing and spreadsheets
- Maintain HACCP records in the stores area and have good understanding and practice of manual handling
- To deputise in the absence of the Store manager
- To undertake occasional duties outside the normal routine but within the scope of the position and the departments activities
What You Bring
- Must hold a full UK current Manual driving license for a minimum of two years with no endorsements.
- Experience in similar role either in a stores/ warehouse capacity or kitchen/catering environment.
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and pro-active
- Ability to work in a role that requires physical effort and perform manual handling tasks
- Ability to work as part of a team or individually as needed
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Positive approach to learning in role and identifying own training needs as appropriate
- Numerate and Literate
