Overview

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse passionate about working in urgent care services and wound care management?

Do you want to work in a forward thinking, diverse and rewarding environment?

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated band 5 Registered Nurse to work within a wound care clinic based at Soho Centre for Health and Care. The service will run 7 days a week and will be part of the walk-in centre based at Soho.

You will be part of our broader dynamic team which works in the scope of advanced practice. As a highly valued member of our team, the quality of care we provide starts with you. We pride ourselves on our registered nurses being up to date with the latest evidenced-based practices as well as being supportive of our staff in their professional development.

This role operates on a rotational basis, covering shifts between 8am and 8pm, seven days a week. Flexibility to work across all three sites may be required.

Responsibilities
  • The nurse will assess, manage and treat a variety of acute and chronic wounds, post operative wounds and minor burns.
  • Actively contribute to the prevention of avoidable deterioration of wounds and use expert knowledge and skill in the management of simple and complex wound care to aid the recovery and healing process.
  • The post holder will support the team lead in the daily operation of the service and will provide holistic care to service users.
