Salary: £155 – £220 per day (Depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-time, Long Term/Day-to-day

Are you a passionate and imaginative Drama Teacher seeking an exciting opportunity?

GSL Education are looking for a Drama Teacher to join a vibrant school community in Penistone. This role is ideal for someone who can inspire students to explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop performance skills through engaging and inclusive drama lessons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic Drama lessons across Key Stages.
  • Foster creativity, collaboration, and self-expression in students through performance and drama activities.
  • Support and organise school productions, performances, and extracurricular drama clubs.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the Drama curriculum and cultural life of the school.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Drama at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring creativity.
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
