Immediate Opportunity for a Full-Time (Ground Works) Technician or Trainee Technician in Hatfield (candidates to be based within a one hour commute from Hatfield)

As a GeoBear Technician, you will be a customer-focused professional dedicated to ensuring the high-quality execution of GeoBear solutions. Your role will involve meeting agreed specifications, deadlines, targets and consistently exceeding customer expectations. Professionalism and customer satisfaction with a total focus on health, safety, and environmental concerns are key priorities for this position.

You will be assisting the site team in the delivery of specialist geotechnical procedures and following scopes of work defined by highly engineered design process.

This role involves physical labour, such as drilling, requires a UK driving licence and can involve time working away from home as required (food and accommodation covered).

Experience
  • Permanent full time position with abundant opportunities for career growth
  • Over 2 years of experience in construction, preferably in groundworks, geotechnical works, civil engineering or house building. Plumbing experience for drainage protection would also be beneficial.
  • Ability to operate drilling machinery and other tools as required.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions from the on-site management team.
  • Commitment to working safely in accordance with site health and safety procedures and policies.
