Location: Higford School, Near Shifnal, Shropshire TF11 9ET
Salary: £13.25 per hour
Hours: 15 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 3 hours per day
Contract: Permanent; Term Time plus Two Weeks

We’re looking for someone reliable, friendly, and ready to roll up their sleeves. You’ll be part of our Facilities Team, helping to keep the school clean, tidy, and running smoothly. No two days are the same — from general daily cleaning to supporting special deep‑cleaning projects during school holidays, your attention to detail will help create a space our students and staff are proud of.
While experience is a bonus, what matters most is your can‑do attitude, trustworthiness, and willingness to get stuck in.
Options Higford is a specialist school set in 28 acres of beautiful Shropshire countryside. We provide a high quality, holistic education for up to 60 autistic students who also have associated behavioural needs. Class groups have five students with at least 1:1 staffing. We provide personalised curriculums for each student based on their individual needs and aim to support them to make progress academically, socially, with skills for life, regulating their emotions and accessing the community.
