A community support organization in Dudley is looking for a Domestic Abuse Practitioner for maternity cover (part-time, 22.5 hours/week). The role involves supporting victims through various programs and collaborating with local authorities. Candidates should have relevant experience in domestic abuse support. Black Country Women's Aid (BCWA) is an established charity providing accommodation and community support services to victims of domestic abuse, sexual abuse and human trafficking. Services are client- and needs-led and include advocacy, civil remedies, court support, individual and group support, and access to therapeutic interventions.
This position is within the Community Domestic Violence and Abuse Support Service, which supports victims in Sandwell, Dudley, Wolverhampton and Walsall through contracted/commissioning arrangements and works in partnership with BCWA and key agencies using a trauma-informed approach.

Position: 1 part-time (12 months maternity cover) – 22.5 hours per week (days negotiable) based in Dudley
Salary: £14,586.02 (unqualified) – £17,483.45 (qualified) pro rata; £24,310.04 (unqualified) – £29,139.08 (qualified) FTE
