We are currently offering the opportunity for someone to lead the manufacturing operations within an innovative biotechnology company based in Cambridge.

The Role

As the Manufacturing Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling of production campaigns and management of team workload
  • Line management of team members – including target setting, one-to-one meetings, employee appraisals
  • Ensuring cGMP compliance and a safe working environment
  • Monitoring manufacturing progress by leading team meetings
  • Approving key QMS documentation
Current / Recent Experience Required
  • Extensive line management experience within a manufacturing / production role (essential)
  • Prior experience working within a cGMP-compliant environment (essential)
  • A degree (e.g. BSc / MSc / MSci / MRes) or professional experience related to DNA / molecular biology / biological sciences / biochemistry (desirable)
  • An understanding of cleanroom procedures (desirable)
Profile Required
  • Existing UK work eligibility (essential)
  • Happy to commute / relocate to Cambridge (essential)
