Overview

Job Description Distribution Manager

Salary up to £62,000 plus great benefits. 40 hours per week. Day shift: Monday - Friday typically working 9:00 - 17:00 or 8:00 - 16:00 with flexibility to work other shift patterns when required. Bicester, Oxfordshire (with occasional travel to other business sites).

As the Distribution Manager for our Fresh Direct business (part of the Sysco Group), you'll be responsible for the effective leadership of the function, managing a large fleet and team of drivers, ensuring that all aspects of this busy distribution operation run effectively and efficiently. If you have National/ International Transport Manager CPC license we want to hear from you! Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the department and the delivery of key performance indicators. As the budget owner for the function, you will be commercially aware, using both data and management information in order to meet and exceed performance expectation.

• Develop direct reports, set clear direction for Transport colleagues, and create a high-performance working culture.
• Hold responsibility as the principal O License holder for the site.
