Role

Director of Sales — Aloft Birmingham Eastside & The Eastside Rooms Conference Centre. You will lead the proactive sales team to drive revenue across Aloft Birmingham and The Eastside Rooms, blending strategy with action to grow market share locally, regionally, and nationally. You will build strong relationships within Birmingham and beyond, keeping our hotel and event spaces top of mind for corporate, group, and MICE customers.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach a proactive sales team to achieve revenue targets across corporate, group, and MICE markets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies that grow market share locally, regionally, and nationally.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to secure new business and repeat opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and events teams to optimise revenue generation and client experience.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis of sales performance.
What we need from you
  • Proven track record in hotel and/or conference sales with experience driving revenue across corporate, group, and MICE markets.
  • Strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Inspiring leadership with the ability to coach a proactive sales team, analyse data to spot opportunities, and deliver strategies that grow market share locally, regionally, and nationally.

Additional information

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, plus a performance-based incentive scheme. Contract: Permanent. Hours: Full Time (40 hours per week).
