The Role

We’re looking for a Director of Project Delivery to oversee the planning, governance and execution of major operational and capital projects.

You’ll manage a Project Manager and Project Executive, working closely with the COO and wider senior leadership team to ensure the portfolio progresses on time, on budget and to the highest safety and operational standards.

Projects span vessel upgrades (including vessel refits, propulsion upgrades, and vessel electrification initiatives) and capital infrastructure upgrades (including pier extensions, berth modifications and asset enhancement projects).

The Director will drive successful capital project delivery, set the project delivery strategy and enable our network to deliver safe, high quality, and resilient transportation services.

This role will maintain the commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability while delivering operational, construction, and marine transformation initiatives across the vessel and infrastructure portfolio.

Key responsibilities will focus on the planning and execution of major operating and capital projects and filtering the portfolio to achieve business outcomes.

As the Director of Project Delivery, you will lead the act practice team and report to the COO.

You will handle the planning, governance, risk, safety, construction, and monitoring systems and manage the strategic base to enable efficient and consistent delivery.

In this role you will:

• Drive and deliver a portfolio of Project Delivery, steering programmes to achieve business objectives.
• Drive the Project Delivery strategy and interface with the risk, safety, and construction partners.
• Implement plans for ongoing programmes, monitoring progress on performance, and reporting to the senior leadership team.
