Overview

We're looking for a skilled and proactive Financial & Tax Reporting Accountant to join our Tax & RTR team. This dynamic and varied role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems. You'll work closely with the Direct Tax Lead and other senior stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial and tax reporting. Your strong ERP and IT skills will be key in driving system improvements and resolving reporting challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit periodic tax and financial reports to HMRC/Revenue.
  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to Pilgrim's US.
  • Ensure all reporting aligns with group policies and statutory deadlines.
  • Deliver key balance sheet reconciliations and support entity-level reporting.
  • Assist with tax postings and statutory accounting processes.
  • Promote consistency and best practices across business units.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, offering financial and tax expertise.
  • Support SOX compliance and harmonization of accounting policies across Europe.
Qualifications
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CTA qualified (or qualified by experience) with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS.
  • Experience preparing or reviewing corporation tax computations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with senior finance stakeholders.
  • Advanced ERP and IT skills, with a focus on driving efficiencies and improvements.
