Job description

I'm recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer, who are looking to bring in a Digital Web Apprentice to join their Digital Marketing team.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start a career in digital marketing, particularly within website management, while completing a supported apprenticeship.

The role

The Digital Web Apprentice will support the Digital Marketing team across a range of online activities. The main focus of the role will be assisting with the management, maintenance and improvement of company websites, alongside exposure to email marketing, social media and online advertising, full training will be given.

Key responsibilities
  • Completing apprenticeship studies with support from the Digital Marketing team
  • Assisting with updating and managing website content, including images, descriptions and banners
  • Supporting continuous improvement of website performance and user experience
  • Identifying website issues and helping to resolve them
  • Assisting with wider digital marketing projects such as email campaigns, social media and online advertising
Candidate requirements
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in digital marketing
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and keen to learn
  • Good attention to detail
Desirable (not essential)
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, HTML or Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
  • An understanding of marketing from a business perspective
  • Good written communication skills
