At the core of this role is the responsibility for leading a team of digital nurses and officers, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and operational oversight to ensure effective execution of the organization’s digital health program

This individual will serve as the key nursing representative on digital projects and programs, aligning clinical requirements with technical capabilities, and ensuring that all digital solutions are safe, user-friendly, and fit for purpose. As a leader, the Digital Nurse Lead will manage the day-to-day activities of their team, set performance goals, coordinate project timelines, allocate resources, and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic nurse leader who is passionate about the future of healthcare and skilled at driving digital change through team empowerment, strategic planning, and a strong clinical voice.

  • Lead and manage a team of digital clinical staff.
  • Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for digital health initiatives.
  • Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to implement and optimise solutions such as EHRs, remote monitoring, virtual care, mobile apps, and decision support systems.
  • Represent nursing in digital projects, ensuring clinical needs are aligned with technical capabilities.
  • Champion digital literacy and capability-building across the nursing workforce.
  • Influence digital policy, contribute to governance structures, and support change management.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Our new strategy, developed with the support and feedback of colleagues, patients, and partners, is our compass for the next seven years (2023-2030).

We Have Four Primary Goals
  • high-quality care for all,
  • being a great place to work,
  • partnerships for impact,
  • research and education excellence

And we will embed health equality in all we do - taking active steps to reduce the avoidable differences in healthcare that some people face, working in partnership with communities.

Our strategy is underpinned by new values and we will work to ensure they are an everyday reality for all:

  • we are compassionate,
  • we are proud,
  • we are inclusive,
  • we are one team

This is an exciting moment as we look to the future with clarity on what we already do well and where we need to focus our energies to make an even bigger difference for the people we serve.
