Title: Digital Marketing Manager - EMEA

Department: Marketing

Salary: Up to £51,000

Location: Milton Keynes with hybrid working opportunities

Reporting to: Marketing Director - EMEA

Position summary

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing and strengthening Trek EMEA’s digital marketing initiatives, encompassing all platforms and channels for brand and Direct Owned Trek Stores (DOTS). Reporting to the EMEA Marketing Director, the Digital Marketing Manager will ensure a high level of regional consistency and quality, fostering an environment of shared learnings, education and best-practice activities. They will balance daily relationship management and strategic engagement with digital marketing teams in the global headquarters (Madison, Wisconsin), with driving and supporting local digital marketing activities. The ideal candidate should be an exceptional problem solver, have a creative mind for the dynamic nature of digital marketing, and be technically savvy regardless of the tools or systems in use.

Key responsibilities
  • Drive the EMEA business in online marketing initiatives to drive customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and ROI measurement
  • Leading the EMEA digital team, staying at the forefront of digital activities and innovation
  • Act as the digital expert for EMEA providing best practice guides and day-to-day advice on digital activities that drive brand awareness, desire, consumer action and ultimately sales
  • Coordinate data analysis and reporting requirements with the HQ data analytics team to provide transparent digital marketing data, and clear performance Vs KPI including ROI
  • Support the management of Trek’s email marketing platform for product launches, content newsletters, and customer engagement
  • Provide strategic guidance on performance improvements to the Trek and Diamant websites, blogs, social networks, and other 3rd party integrations
  • Provide strategic direction for Trek Owned Retail Stores digital marketing strategies
  • Lead new projects being implemented into EMEA such as new systems, tools, channels, E-commerce, etc..
Skills, experience & attributes
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience in consumer channels
  • Strong digital strategy background across multiple platforms/channels and activities
  • Strong experience in paid search and paid social activities
  • eCommerce strategy and implementation experience
  • Team management experience
  • Experience with email marketing programs
  • Experience with SEO and SEM
  • Experience with online analytics (Google Analytics, Trends, Webmaster Tools, Website Optimizer, Keyword tools, URL builder)
  • Experience with online lead funnels (generation, nurturing, scoring and conversion)
  • Experience with the website development process (CMS, landing pages, microsites, templates, styles, basic HTML & CSS)
  • Experience with admin of social networks
  • Sensitivity to user experience and design
  • Experience with International business (translation/localisation) is advantageous, but not essential
