Overview

This vacancy is an opportunity to join the Disney Programmatic and Social Investment team, which is responsible for planning and buying all Digital Programmatic and Social campaigns. The overall Investment team is comprised of 32 individuals with diverse skills and expertise across the media and technology landscape. Digital Programmatic and Social Investment works in close collaboration with Media Planners, and the AV Investment team to help design integrated solutions to Disney's communication challenges.
The Digital Director will assist on leading Disney's Programmatic and Social strategy alongside the Digital Business Director, overseeing long-term planning, media execution, and the Digital Investment team's overall planning and buying output.
Reporting to the Digital Business Director at Publicis Imagine, this role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of the evolving Digital Programmatic & Social landscape.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate in developing and driving Disney's Programmatic and Social strategy, ensuring best-in-class media planning and execution across all Programmatic and Social Platforms.
  • Platforms & Technology: Keep up to date with development and emerging trends in the Programmatic and Social landscape, leading the implementation of platform opportunities for Disney.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with Disney clients, acting as a key point of contact for Programmatic and Social strategy and execution.
  • Innovation & Thought Leadership: Lead and present brilliant new strategic Programmatic and Social approaches and innovative media solutions to drive Disney's success.
  • Partner Relationships: Leverage strong relationships with platforms and media owners to develop Disney roadmaps and maximise investment efficiency for Disney from existing partnerships.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Managing and supporting the growth of the Digital and Social team, ensuring the timely delivery of high-performance campaigns to market-leading standards.
  • Performance & Compliance: Collaborate with the team to meet all campaign KPI targets, all reporting delivered to clients correct and insightful commentary, while monitoring vendor spend and JBP value and distribution.
  • Collaboration & Integration: Work closely with the Accounts, D&T, Strategy and Planning teams to ensure alignment with processes and ensure strong holistic strategic approaches to clients
  • Client Briefs & Presentations: Responding to and presenting client briefs with compelling strategies and insights.
  • Awards & Recognition: Prepare award submissions to showcase excellence in Programmatic and Social strategy and execution for Publicis Imagine.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the Programmatic and Social teams maintain high standards in deliverables, organisation, team administration, and financial management.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Digital with deep expertise in Programmatic and Social. The ideal candidate should be able to confidently discuss and provide expert insights on both these media channels.
  • Understand the wider digital ecosystem across Direct Display, CTV, Digital Audio and BVOD/SVOD.
  • Strong Media Owner Relationships and negotiating skills.
