A regional healthcare provider is seeking a Rotational Band 5 Dietitian in Plymouth. The successful candidate will work full-time alongside multi-disciplinary teams within various specialties including oncology and paediatrics. Responsibilities include providing dietetic services, training staff and students, and engaging in departmental activities. This role offers development opportunities in a collaborative environment, emphasizing an evidence-based approach to patient care. Internal staff and those with relevant experience will be given preference.
University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust are recruiting for a Rotational Band 5 Dietitian.
This post would suit either newly qualified dietitians or experienced Band 5 dietitians. We are looking for the successful candidate to be able to fulfil full time hours.
Rotational dietitians work within the acute and community dietetic teams. Rotations will provide the opportunity to work within a wide range of specialties including community, oncology, gastroenterology, paediatrics, renal and the newly created major trauma ward.
Band 5 dietitians will work closely within an established dietetic team and work in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams including doctors, nurses, caterers and therapists to deliver dietetic care to patients.
The successful applicants will be required to develop and take part in staff teaching, student training and support the team in audit and service developments.
***Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.***
