Duties/Responsibilities:Diesel Mechanic

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems
  • Diagnose and repair issues with brakes, tires, transmission, steering, and other systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
  • Communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended services
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards while working in the shop or field
  • Other tasks as needed

Requirements and QualificationsDiesel Mechanic

  • Valid driver's license (CDL strongly )
  • Must be able to read and speak English fluently
  • Experience with Class 8 truck maintenance (at least 1 year )
  • Must possess personal set of basic hand tools
  • Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job
  • Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
