Overview

Be a pivotal part of a dynamic manufacturing environment as a Die Corrector. Reporting to the Die Shop Manager, you'll ensure the precision, performance, and reliability of extrusion dies; minimising downtime, reducing scrap, and maintaining top-quality outputs through expert die inspection, correction, and maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect, polish, and maintain both new and existing extrusion dies (press, storage, nitriding)
  • Perform die corrections and support press parameter adjustments to:
  • Ensure compliance with product specifications
  • Minimise die stoppages and scrap
  • Boost overall productivity and reduce turnaround time
  • Operate key equipment, including Bridgeport milling machines and sandblasters
  • Use ERP systems for die management and maintain accurate tooling logs
  • Assist in nitriding operations
  • Mentor and assist junior staff members
