Job summary

An automotive recruitment agency is looking for a Diagnostic Technician to join a workshop in Oxford. The successful candidate will undertake maintenance, servicing, and diagnostics on vehicles. Candidates must be qualified to IMI/NVQ level 3 and have experience in a dealership setting. The position offers a competitive salary of £45,000 plus additional benefits and an uncapped OTE, with working hours Monday to Friday, and alternate Saturday mornings.

Diagnostic Technician – Location: Oxford

Salary: £45,000 basic plus bonus and additional benefits

We have an opportunity for a Diagnostic Technician to join my client’s workshop in Oxford. Due to increased workload, they are looking for an additional Vehicle Technician to join the team.

Working Hours and Leave

• Monday‑Friday 8am-5pm
• Saturdays 1 in 2 - 8am-1pm
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Uncapped OTE

Requirements for this Vehicle Technician role are:

• Qualified to IMI/NVQ level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair / City and Guilds Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance / Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair / City & Guilds Automotive
• Have experience working within a car dealership or an independent garage / car supermarket
• Completed your MOT tester class 1, 2, 4 or 7
• Experience of working on commercial vehicles / LCV / cars
• Ideally Hybrid / EV trained but if not training will be provided
