A community interest company is seeking a part-time Diabetes Specialist Dietitian in London to deliver high-quality care for diabetes patients. Responsibilities include providing specialist nutrition advice, managing diverse patient caseloads, and supporting multidisciplinary teams. The role offers a salary between £53,751 and £60,651 per annum, plus an attractive benefits package including pension and discounts.
Part-time - 22.5 hours/week. Band 7, Diabetes Specialist Dietitian required to work alongside our part-time Diabetes Specialist Dietitian within the Intermediate Diabetes services team. Clinic setting includes one-to-one, face-to-face, virtual, and group sessions. Travel within Bromley borough to nursing homes and patient homes; car driver not essential but travel around the borough is expected.
Responsible for delivering a high-quality, evidence-based service to patients, including specialist expertise for: type 1 diabetes requiring insulin dose adjustment, pump support, and self-management skills; type 2 diabetes and pre-conception diabetic patients. Education to patients via DAFNE & DESMOND programmes. Team includes specialist nurses, dietitians, consultants; close collaboration with podiatry service.
