Sarabande seeks ahighly organised Development & Marketing Assistantwith excellent communication skills, a flair for storytelling and a deep understanding of the creative industries to engage audiences and amplify brand awareness through compelling narratives and purposeful activations for both Sarabande and its commercial subsidiary.

Working within a forward-thinking and dynamic organisation, the successful applicant will collaborate closely with the Sarabande team members as well as external partners and stakeholders at all levels. Additionally, a key focus of the role will be developing narratives and writing editorial collateral for brand positioning, marketing, special projects, and partnerships, in line with Sarabande and House of Bandits’ audiences across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Engaging audiences and amplifying brand awareness through compelling narratives and purposeful activations for Sarabande and its commercial subsidiary, House of Bandits.
  • Developing and writing editorial collateral for special projects, marketing, partnerships and brand positioning, including the annual Sarabande Manifesto, pitch decks and reports.
  • Crafting compelling copy and visual assets that reflect the Sarabande brand and drive maximum engagement.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including galleries, cultural institutions, talent agencies and fashion brands.
  • Support with communication, production and logistics surrounding special projects when necessary.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation on activities of the foundation, including P&Ls, impact reports, press coverage, charity commission reports, and project reports.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work will be required, particularly on a project basis.

Requirements :
  • Experience of working on a dynamic range of projects and partnerships within a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • A clear understanding of project timelines, with the ability to project, forecast and troubleshoot.
  • Adept at supportingmultiple projects simultaneously while balancing both short- and long-term goals within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent writing and editorial skills with the ability to adapt the tone in line with various platforms for Sarabande and House of Bandits’ audiences.
  • Keen attention to detail, and the ability to ensure the high standards set by the existing communications channels are maintained.
  • Excellent time management with the ability to work under pressure – punctual and reliable, able to manage workload and priorities effectively and independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external contacts at all levels.
  • Strong administrative, analytical and IT skills, able to build reports on relevant activities.
  • Proficient withExcel
  • Commitment to Sarabande’s goals and objectives, and able to represent the Foundation during events and off-site.
  • A strong understanding of cultural trends across contemporary art, design and fashion.
