Required background: Housebuilding

We are working alongside one of the UK's leading privately owned housebuilders who are experiencing a period of growth and are looking to introduce a Development Coordinator/Planner to come in and focus on both the Planning and Technical Function.

With numerous Strategic and Immediate Developments in the pipeline this role offers the opportunity to work alongside a well‑respected Planning Director and a knowledgeable Technical Director. It requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in CAD is highly desirable and considered essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Planning Director with site research and preparation of planning applications.
  • Coordinate external consultants and track the progress of planning submissions.
  • Manage the discharge of planning conditions and oversee related legal agreements.
  • Stay up to date with UK planning policy and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
  • Assist the Technical Director with SAP reports and Building Control submissions.
  • Oversee drawing revisions and ensure effective document control processes are in place.
