Our client, a fantastic employee‑owned company in North Somerset, are currently recruiting for a Design Team Lead to join their growing team.

As Design Team Lead you will report to the Technical Manager, and be responsible for overseeing the day to day activities of the Design team. You will have relationships with all other departments while being an active member of the design team. This is a hybrid office / home role after 6 months.

Location: Clevedon, North Somerset

Salary: circa £55000

Responsibilities and Duties within the Design Dept

• Design, development and support of power and control circuits, both digital and analogue
• Communicating design strategies to assist with product development and goals
• Provide technical support, know how and guidance to the Design team
• Training and development plans for team members
• New product implementation as part of the Design Team
• Research of electronics and power circuits
• Understand product requirements and implementation of these in the product and application, whilst understanding commercial and business requirements
