Purpose of the job: To support the department's transition to CATIA CAD software by designing tooling for composite components, managing CAD data, and collaborating with departments to resolve tooling issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and model patterns, moulds, and fixtures in CATIA
• Create technical tooling drawings for manufacturing and assembly
• Compare data files to identify differences
• Analyze models and customer requirements
• Support production with design information

Communication:

• Coordinate with Projects, Production, and Design teams to ensure project targets
• Use project notes and customer data to understand requirements
• Specify BOM items and develop departmental drawings/manuals
• Liaise with suppliers for quotes

Change Management:

• Communicate issues to Projects
• Define process changes and tooling requirements for changes

Skills:
