Thistley Hough Academy are seeking an organised person who prides themselves on managing their time and workload effectively. You should show initiative in identifying needs, taking appropriate action. This will include helping staff and students in identifying safer and more effective ways to work. Your ability to communicate effectively will enable you to take direction from staff within the department and make suggestions where appropriate. Your ability to multi-task will be essential in being able to switch from task to task, keeping track of incomplete jobs which need further attention.
The Design Technology department at Thistley Hough Academy is a well-resourced and collaborative team, made up of three dedicated teachers and a skilled technician who provides valuable support across all subject areas. The department benefits from clear routines, a positive working culture, and a shared commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging lessons. Staff have access to school-wide CPD opportunities, ensuring continuous professional growth and support tailored to individual needs. If you have experience within the education or commercial sectors where you have had responsibility for organising and planning lab/classrooms in preparation for lessons or work activity you may be the person we are looking for.
