Theatres Central are looking for highly motivated, dedicated and suitably qualified Band 6 Deputy Team Leader for Scrub.
The post holder will demonstrate advanced specialist practice, undertaking planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients throughout the peri operative pathway.
Ysbyty Glan Clwyd is a busy hospital located in the beautiful county of Denbighshire, with immediate access to the main route in and out of North Wales (A55) providing excellent links to the Snowdonia National Park and the Llyn Peninsula.
It has a brand new, fully refurbished, and modern Theatre Suite comprising of 12 operating theatres covering a variety of surgical specialties including Colo-rectal (including laparoscopic surgery), major Head & Neck (ENT & Max Fax) Urology, Gynae, Obstetric, Vascular, Orthopaedic (trauma & elective), Breast and Emergency surgery.
The post holder will demonstrate advanced specialist practice, undertaking planning, implementation and evaluation of care for patients throughout the peri operative pathway.
The post holder will be responsible for the quality of care delivered within the clinical area, empowering and enabling the peri-operative team. You will provide expert advice and support for other healthcare professionals and agencies and will deputise for the Team Leader where required.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
