Deputy Team Leader

Location: Royston

As a Deputy Team Leader you will help drive our goals by:

  • Through leading by example take responsibility for demonstrating that EHS is #1 priority through ensuring poor EHS culture and behaviour is challenged and dealt with appropriately.
  • Support the team leader to manage people and equipment to ensure on time delivery of production targets.
  • Operate plant and equipment in line with business standards to meet applicable planned requirements.
  • Ensure processes and procedures are executed accurately and relevant documents completed thoroughly in a timely manner. Create and maintain accurate batch process records and shift logs as work progresses.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

  • Grade C or equivalent in Mathematics, English and a Science (or equivalent) - Essential
  • Knowledge of a variety of different PC Packages including Excel, Word, Access, Microsoft SharePoint - Desirable
  • Good understanding of Chemistry preferable to A-level - Desirable
  • Exposure to lean approach to manufacturing - Desirable
