What You’ll Do

As Deputy Spa & Leisure Manager, you will:

  • Support the Spa & Leisure Manager with the smooth commercial and operational running of the leisure complex, pools, gym, spa treatment rooms, and relaxation areas.
  • Lead and motivate the team, including leisure and spa team leaders, fitness instructors, lifeguards, therapists, and receptionists to deliver great customer service.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure our facilities are clean, safe, and running smoothly at all times.
  • Support with staff training, development, and performance, building a positive team culture.
  • Assist with financial tasks such as budget planning, revenue monitoring, and implementing strategies to meet commercial targets.
  • Ensure health, safety, and compliance checks are completed daily, weekly, and monthly to the highest standards.
  • Respond to customer queries and feedback, making sure we deliver excellent guest experiences throughout their visit.
  • Work with the team to promote spa treatments, wellness experiences, and leisure activities, supporting revenue growth.
Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in leisure, spa, or hospitality management, ideally in a leadership role
  • Confident leading a team, providing clear direction, motivation, and support
  • Organised and able to juggle the operational needs of both leisure and spa facilities
  • Commercially aware, with an understanding of revenue and cost controls
  • Strong on health, safety, and compliance standards within a leisure environment
  • Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
Desirable Qualifications
  • A valid RLSS NLPQ UK Qualification in Pool Lifeguarding is (preferred)
  • Pool Plant Operators Certificate (preferred)
