Deputy Nursery Manager

Up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience
40 hours per week

Our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager based at Bromley in our Nuffield Health gym.

This is a fantastic opportunity to help run one of the brilliant nurseries inside the UK’s largest Healthcare Charity. We’re Ofsted registered and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage. Our initiatives, including swimming and mindfulness, are designed to support children’s wellbeing and education.

As a Deputy Nursery Manager at Nuffy Bear Day Nursery, you’ll be qualified with either the NNEB, NVQ Level 3, BTEC, BA Hons, or equivalent.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the team and deputising in the absence of the Nursery Manager
  • Ensuring the highest standards of care and education
  • Promoting the health, growth, and development of every child
  • Following the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Overseeing planning activities and assessments, and implementing childcare legislation updates
  • Knowing and implementing safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Maintaining effective communication with parents, carers, and external professionals
  • Supporting the Nursery Manager in operational responsibilities
  • Driving the nursery to provide exceptional high-quality standards aligned with the Nuffy Bear Ethos
