Job Title: Clinical Deputy Manager - Nursing Home

Location: Near Chippenham

Salary: £50,000 per annum

Are you a hands-on, clinically skilled care professional who is also a true people person? We are seeking an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join our nursing home team in a fast-paced environment. You will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care, supporting residents with complex needs, and leading a skilled care team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Home Manager in all aspects of clinical leadership and management.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise care staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Oversee residents' clinical care plans, with a strong focus on dementia care.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Be hands-on when necessary, directly supporting residents with their care needs.
  • Work alternate weekends to provide leadership and support on the floor.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and the team to create a welcoming, supportive environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead within a care home setting.
  • Strong clinical background, ideally with experience in dementia care.
  • Registered Nurse or equivalent clinical qualification preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A people-oriented approach, able to motivate staff and connect with residents and families.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding care and improving residents' quality of life.
