Avery Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join their award-winning team at Aldridge Care Home. This role involves supporting the General Manager to ensure the care home operates effectively and provides a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for residents and their visitors, while meeting professional and statutory standards.
As the Deputy Manager, your focus will be on providing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team, ensuring medication policies and procedures are adhered to, monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, and completing necessary audits and reports. You will also attend weekly clinical meetings and monitor clinical risk areas in the home.

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of two years' experience working in a similar care environment, in a management position. You should possess excellent leadership and management skills, the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and be competent in using IT systems. Flexibility and adaptability to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice are also essential.
